Digital Campfires Foundation Vision:
The Digital Campfires Foundation (DCF) believes that today’s trailing and emerging information technologies should be used to link people to each other and to help bridge cultural, social, and generational divides In our opinion it does “take a village” to raise a child, and every one of the “thousand points of light” is a digital campfire interconnecting people of all ages.
We have been designated as a Microsoft's Authorized Refurbisher that
permits us to use licensed Windows software on the free computers we
offer to our non-profit partners and their volunteers. Please check our "Donations" page for information about our current technology needs.
DCF also provides grant application support for nonprofits,
organizations and small businesses. Fee based services range from
researching grant opportunities through grant project management. Grant writing webinars are in the development stage.
Please visit our "Projects" page for more information about our activities that help us meet our mission.
DCF is a private, non-profit foundation that was formed in 2005, to celebrate the memory of John and Doris Grozik, who instilled a deep sense of public service in their children. The Digital Campfires Foundation does not accept monetary contributions at this time, but welcomes partnerships with other organizations or corporations that share a common interest in connecting people with technologies and with volunteer opportunities.
